Hello

I’m Amy. It’s nice to meet you!

I am a writer, content strategist, and a communications manager.  An impatient optimist, your most fervent cheerleader, an emotional being, and a rational confidant. All of that with a side of wanderlust and a grounding of home in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to my fulltime work, I currently write a column for ThriveGlobal.

With more than 15 years of communications, marketing and PR strategy for non-profit organizations, mission-driven companies, I love working with teams and executives to bring out a rich story that moves people to act, from speeches to marketing campaigns and digital content. I’ve worked across a wide range of industries, from gaming and tech to health and wellness, from global health to sustainable design. I’ve built multimedia content teams to empower thousands to build their best lives. In short, it’s my job to tell stories that move people.

Amy is one of the most effective professional communicators I have ever worked with. Her ability to drive strategic campaigns and execute her work flawlessly and under quick-turn deadlines, while still being able to lead and develop a team is incredible, and I cannot recommend her enough.

Amy is quite simply one of the most effective and engaging communications and outreach professionals I have ever worked with. She is an outstanding writer, able to translate complex health and science information into easy-to-understand education materials that are changing the way the world views addiction and increasing the visibility and impact of her organization. She is extremely adept at leveraging social and digital communications to achieve program goals, and she is a savvy relationship-builder, which has paid huge dividends for the NCRG. People want to work with Amy because she is smart as a whip, energetic, curious, kind and motivated to deliver above and beyond on every project. I cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone searching for an outstanding communications leader for their organization!

Hands down Amy is one of my favorite people to have ever worked with. She is genuine, positive, and an incredibly hard worker. Amy breathes, lives, and embodies what you want in a public relations manager. She quickly identifies a company's strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities and strategically aligns that company with the appropriate media and influencers. It's incredible to watch her in action. I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to work with her and I look forward to future opportunities to collaborate!
